The Garden

Le Mandorle is named after the almond trees that once grew here. Today, in the masseria’s gardens there are three blossoming almonds, a 70-year-old lime tree, 20 orange trees, 5 carobs and one loquat tree, 3 mulberry trees along with prickly pears, but the centrepiece is a 300-year-old olive tree. The kitchen garden has also been planted with seasonal herbs and vegetables for the restaurant.
